Guatemala City

No pictures for this blog because it comes straight off my (Byron's) iPhone. Haven't worked that one out yet. Sitting in Guatemala City. Didn't quite make the volcanoes today since Roelof's bike is giving problems. This was bound to happen and will probably not be the last time. I think Roelof is losing faith in KTM. I am sure we will get it sorted.

Anyway. The traffic in this place is crazy. The city is huge and is only accessible from a few arterial routes since it is very mountainous. Like putting Johannesburg in place of Nelspruit.

Hopefully the next blog will be interesting.

Sorry to hear that one of the bikes is playing up.Luckily they do have a dealer in Guatemala City though.
Ja this is bringing back memories.
We rode through there at rush hour on our way to Antigua.
If you have to wait for the bike to be fixed base yourself there .It's 30km north of G/City and a great place to wait.
You can grab a boutique type luxury hotel for around $15 each.
Happy & safe riding/Tony

Thanks Tony. We got the bike sorted fortunately. Been fine ever since. Hopefully that is the last of it.

We are definitely going to be using some of your tips on places to go and things to see. Much appreciated
